  Of all the off campus housing I've lived in, this has been my favorite by far. Tha apartments are nice, clean, and maintence is quick with any issue. The owners respect your space and give you a lot of privacy, up till the last month of your lease where they just ask if they can show the apartment to potential buyers which really doesn't bother me. The only con I have is that the air and heat for a one bedroom come from one window unit in the living room with a knob turn, so the back room can get hot or cold easily and you don't have a way to really track the temp. of the apartment. All and all if I could go back I would have stayed here all four years of college.

  Venture Properties owns three different locations, Gettysburg, Williamsburg, and Brentwood apartments. I've lived in the Gettysburg and Brentwood apartments and overall I have been very pleased with the properties and owners. The facilities are well-maintained and very clean. They offer one bedroom apartments for $435 a month and two bedroom for I think $650 a month. That price includes rent, water, trash, and extended cable. Electricity and internet are separate. Each apartment also includes a heater and air conditioning unit, refrigerator, microwave, stove, washer, and dryer. Overall, these apartments are a wonderful place to live. All the apartments are close to the Murray State campus, but far enough away that you aren't disturbed by the noise of the rowdy college students. As long as you pay rent on time and are polite to the owners and your neighbors, you shouldn't have any problems. My only complaints are that the Brentwood apartments are a little dated and the units near the trash cans have problems with bugs in the summer.
